Active Explorers Kaiwharawhara is a warm, welcoming early learning centre where every child is celebrated and supported to grow with confidence through play, creativity, and connection. With stunning views of Wellington harbour and light-filled, spacious environment, tamariki delight in watching trains, planes, and boats while enjoying all-weather play in large classrooms and covered decks. We embrace infants, toddlers, and young learners in mixed-age spaces, with plans to grow into age-specific rooms, and our days are filled with storytelling, music, movement, and learning that reflects the rick cultures of our whanau.
Working 20 hours over five days, you will join a passionate team of educators, making a difference in the lives of tamariki every day!
ECE in Aotearoa is a regulated industry and compliance is paramount - as an Administrator with Evolve you help to keep everything in order and ensure our Kaiako and Centre Leadership teams are well supported to do what they do best - ensuring incredible learning outcomes for Tamariki.

We prioritise the well-being of children, whānau, and our teaching staff by offering outstanding facilities, quality educational programs, and a supportive atmosphere.
Typical areas of focus for your day-to-day would include:
- Processing enrolments and supporting paperwork
- General admin support to the Centre Manager.
- Ensuring that every child’s attendance, absence, pick up and drop off times are accurately recorded.
- Entering staff hours into our payroll system.
- Following processes and maintaining the filing system.
- Banking/invoicing
