As the first point of contact for our centre, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for tamariki, whānau, visitors, and staff. This position is for 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and requires someone who is highly organised, approachable, and passionate about supporting early childhood education.

Typical areas of focus for your day-to-day would include:

  • Welcome and support whānau, tamariki, visitors, and community members.

  • Support accounts administration, invoicing, and fee processing.
  • Respond to phone calls, emails, and general enquiries.
  • Assist the Centre Manager with administrative tasks and reporting.
  • Coordinate centre communications, newsletters, and family notices.

You will be someone who:

  • Is confident using Microsoft Office and administrative software.
  • Has a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Works collaboratively and contributes positively to a team culture.
  • Values diversity, inclusion, and meaningful partnerships with whānau.
  • Has previous administration experience (early childhood experience is advantageous but not essential).

Our offer to you:

At Learning Adventures Kea Centre Rotorua, we value whanaungatanga, manaakitanga, ako, and kotahitanga. We are committed to creating a workplace where every person feels valued, supported, and empowered to grow. You will become part of a caring team that celebrates curiosity, lifelong learning, sustainability, and strong community connections.

If you are passionate about supporting tamariki, whānau, and educators through exceptional administration and customer service, we would love to hear from you!
