Do you love the energy, curiosity, and big personalities of our over 2s? At Active Explorers Melville, we're looking for an energetic and passionate Non-Certificated Kaiako to join our team and help our tamariki grow their confidence, independence, and love of learning.

We're looking for someone who can keep up with our active and curious tamariki and who genuinely enjoys getting involved in their world. You’ll be fun, energetic, enthusiastic, and confident, bringing plenty of personality into the learning environment. If you love encouraging children to explore, ask questions, try new things, and discover the world around them, this could be the role for you!

Our ideal Kaiako enjoys working alongside tamariki and the wider teaching team, using play and everyday experiences to extend children's learning. You'll bring a positive attitude, plenty of creativity, and a willingness to get involved — whether that's joining in outdoor adventures, getting messy with creative activities, or helping tamariki develop new skills and confidence.
