At Active Explorers Papakura, every day is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of tamariki while being part of a supportive and passionate teaching team. We are a centre that celebrates diversity, values strong community connections, and takes pride in helping children grow into confident, resilient learners. Our purpose-built centre offers the best of both worlds, with nature and urban adventures right on our doorstep, inspiring curiosity and exploration beyond the classroom. From visits to local parks and horses to culturally rich learning experiences, no two days are the same. With age-specific learning environments and a strong focus on relationships, you'll have the opportunity to nurture children's individual strengths, build lasting connections with whānau, and experience the joy that comes from watching tamariki flourish every day.
We’re on the lookout for a Reliever Non-Certificated to jump in and be part of the action! This is a great opportunity for someone who loves being around Tamariki, brings positive energy, and is keen to get started in ECE. - A welcoming, down-to-earth team that feels like whānau.
- A fun, upbeat environment where no two days are the same.
- A chance to gain real, hands-on experience in ECE.
- Support and guidance as you learn and grow.
What we’re looking for in you:
- You’re bubbly, positive, and love being around Tamariki.
- You’re a great communicator and a true team player.
- You’re reliable, respectful, and ready to get stuck in.
- You bring manaakitanga and genuinely enjoy working with children.
- You have the ability to work 8 hour shifts, including opening and closing shifts.
If you bring the energy, the good vibes, and a love for Tamariki — we’d love to hear from you. Apply now and come join our whānau!
