We’re searching for an outstanding Certificated Kaiako to inspire and support the learning of tamariki in our over-twos rooms, Mānuka and Kānuka.
Nestled near the beautiful Te Awarua-o-Porirua Harbour, Active Explorers Mana is a hidden gem, deeply connected to our community. Our localised curriculum emphasizes Whanaungatanga, fostering kinship and shared purpose. As wayfinders, our kaiako guide tamariki through their unique learning journeys, supported by our treasured centre taonga: Awarua, Rereroa, Manutangi, and Werewere.
At the heart of our practice is a dedication to history and multicultural values. We are looking for a passionate kaiako eager to share this journey with our tamariki by creating enriching, hands-on learning experiences. Our tamariki love to explore their surroundings on local hīkoi—if you’re someone who thrives outdoors and brings learning to life, we’d love to hear from you.
Manaakitanga forms the core of our philosophy here at Active Explorers Mana. We believe in building strong, respectful relationships with tamariki and whānau, empowering everyone in our community. With a deep appreciation of Te Aō Māori, cultural responsiveness, and a flexible, proactive mindset, you’ll be well-equipped to thrive with us.
