Tucked within a warm, whānau-focused pocket in Strowan, our purpose-built centre is a place where aroha, connection, and relationships truly come first. This is a space where our pēpi and nohinohi feel safe, nurtured, and deeply valued every single day.

With two dedicated nursery rooms and a beautiful, spacious outdoor area, our tamariki are free to explore, discover, and thrive at their own pace. It’s a calm, inviting environment where curiosity is celebrated, and learning happens through play.

Our kaupapa (philosophy) is grounded in primary care — building strong, responsive relationships with each child and their whānau. We lead with manaakitanga, kindness, and empathy, and believe in offering meaningful challenges that support each child’s unique learning journey.

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, we embrace open-ended play, natural resources, and child-led learning. While experience in this practice is an advantage, we are committed to supporting your ongoing growth and professional development — we learn and grow together!

Connection to our wider hapori (community) is a big part of who we are — from neighbourhood hīkoi, to visits with local kura, pakihi, and even a nearby retirement home. Our tamariki are active, confident participants in the world around them.

This position is within our nursery (under 2s), working with our pēpi and toddlers. It offers flexibility between 20–32 hours per week across 4 days — perfect for someone who is passionate about nurturing tamariki in their earliest years and values building strong, respectful relationships from the very beginning.

• You are ECE qualified with a current Full or Provisional Teaching Registration.
• A genuine passion for working with pēpi and toddlers.
