We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring, and passionate Kaiako to join our team at Active Explorers Blenheim. Our centre is a place where curiosity blooms, grounded in strong relationships and Kotahitanga, where tamariki, whānau, and Kaiako feel a true sense of belonging.

This role is based in our over-2s space, supporting children as they play, explore, and discover the world around them. You’ll work alongside a friendly, supportive team who enjoy learning together and creating a calm, happy place for Tamariki to thrive.

Our tamariki love spending time outdoors. We have a large outdoor area and a growing garden where children dig, plant, explore, and connect with Papatūānuku through hands-on play. If you enjoy getting outside, following children’s interests, and bringing energy and warmth into your day, you’ll feel right at home here.

If you have experience with children, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and use Te Reo Māori in everyday moments, we would love to hear from you.
