Nestled in Ahuriri, in the lovely art deco city of Napier, Lollipops Napier Port is a safe and nurturing hive of learning for tamariki under 5. With a vast range of educational resources, and a team of passionate and dedicated teachers, our centre is the ideal home away from home for children to learn, grow and develop. We believe each child is talented, and we aim to build a deep connection with children and their whānau.

Our large purpose-built centre with specific rooms catering to each age, stage, and educational need. With large open plan rooms and outdoor play spaces the perfect environment for adventure and exploration.

 

We are looking for a passionate Team Leader with leadership experience to join our team – to lead, to guide and be a part of our big family.  This position is based in the 3-5-year-old learning environment at our Tuakana room and will be supporting the daily operations of the centre, with a pathway for leadership.

What we’re looking for in you:

  • You are ECE qualified and hold current NZ Teaching Registration.
  • Proven leadership experience at mid to large size ECE centres - great understanding of ECE centre operation, and mentoring.
  • Knowledge in local curriculum and Pūrākau of Ahuriri are essential.
  • Ability to build strong connections with children, whānau and our community.
  • You are passionate, caring, and committed to education, and the best learning outcomes for tamariki.
  • Be flexible to work between centre opening (7:30am) and closing hours (5:30pm).
