Here, you'll be part of a fun-loving, values-driven team where relationships are at the heart of everything we do, and everyone feels like part of our Whanau.
This role is diverse, dynamic, and requires strong planning and time management skills. We’re looking for someone who is fully registered, rich in knowledge, and eager to contribute to our passionate and committed team at Active Explorers Blenheim.
In your role, you will:
Lead the development and regular review of centre-specific procedures, policies, practices, and environments through an ongoing cycle of internal evaluation.
Design and implement a curriculum that aligns with Te Whāriki and supporting ECE documents, ensuring it is regularly evaluated and adapted.
Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that meets the physical, social, cultural, and emotional needs of all learners.
Role model exemplary teaching practices and guide your team on a continuous journey of improvement.
Support our pursuit of excellence across all areas of service.
What We Offer:
A supportive and enthusiastic team to work with.
A well-resourced centre that sparks creativity and enhances teaching.
Strong management support for your professional development.
A competitive salary and a balanced lifestyle.
The opportunity to connect with a network of ECE professionals through Evolve.
Birthday leave to celebrate you!
Adequate non-contact hours for effective program planning.
What We’re Looking for in You:
ECE qualification with current or provisional Teaching Registration.
A positive, nurturing approach to teaching young children.
A passion for quality education, care, and commitment.
Strong knowledge of ECE regulations.
This is a full-time role but we are open to discussing the finer details with the right candidate.
If this sounds like the perfect fit for you, we’d love to hear from you!
