Join Our Toddler Whānau at Learning Adventures Te Puke!

If you love the joyful chaos of toddlerhood—the energy, the curiosity, the big feelings, the even bigger milestones—then you’ll feel right at home with us. Our under-3s are busy, bold, and brilliant, and we’re looking for a qualified and certificated kaiako to join our whānau in a fixed-term role from July 2026 through to August 2027, working 32 hours across 4 days per week.

Why You’ll Love Being Here

  • A well‑resourced centre in a fantastic location
  • Full pay parity - and then more
  • Discounted childcare for your own tamariki
  • Onsite parking (because mornings are busy enough!)

Who We Are

At Learning Adventures Te Puke, we’re all about nurturing, supporting, and celebrating every child’s unique journey. Our spacious, eco-friendly environment encourages tamariki to explore, discover, and learn through play and connection with the natural world.

Our whānau is wonderfully diverse, and we love sharing that richness through celebrations like Matariki, Diwali, and other cultural events that bring our community together. Our teaching team is experienced, long‑standing, and genuinely passionate about lifting each other up. Strong relationships—with each other, with whānau, and with our local schools—are at the heart of everything we do.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be working with our under‑3s, supporting their physical, social, and emotional development as they discover who they are and what they can do. Toddlers need a kaiako who can keep up with their pace, honour their big emotions, and celebrate every triumph—big or small.

What We Offer

  • A warm, collaborative team
  • A centre full of resources to fuel your creativity
  • Competitive salary and a balanced lifestyle
  • Access to the Evolve network of ECE professionals
  • A half‑day of birthday leave
  • Plenty of non‑contact time for planning, documentation, and reflection

What We’re Looking For

  • ECE qualification with Current or Provisional Teaching Registration
  • A commitment to quality practice and ongoing growth
  • A nurturing, positive teaching style
  • Someone who thrives in a lively, fast‑paced toddler environment

If this sounds like your kind of place, we’d love to hear from you. Submit your confidential application and let’s explore this journey together—nau mai, haere mai.
