Active Explorers Glenfield Rimu is on the lookout for a passionate, certificated kaiako to join our vibrant teaching team on a fixed‑term basis. Our modern, welcoming centre features three beautifully designed learning spaces tailored to each age and stage, supported by a team of experienced registered teachers who are dedicated to empowering tamariki to grow, explore, and thrive.

As a certified teacher in our centre, you’ll play a key role in shaping meaningful learning experiences for our tamariki. You’ll be guided by an inspiring Centre Manager who is deeply committed to mentoring, supporting, and growing her team. Our kaiako have created a collaborative, positive environment where strong relationships shine through in every interaction and every learning space.

The fixed term is to cover parental leave from 2 February 2026 - 3 July 2026.  The position is 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

• A qualified ECE teacher with current full or provisional registration
• Someone who teaches with warmth, positivity, and genuine care

• Knowledge of ECE regulations and Te Whāriki
