Here at Active Explorers Highbrook, we’re passionate about serving the childcare needs of our community. Our team of dedicated, experienced teachers work daily to make our centre a ‘home away from home’ for our tamariki and their whanau.

Our large, purpose-built centre caters to over 100 children across 9 rooms, each with their own unique, cosy atmosphere. We celebrate diversity with regular cultural events and themed celebrations, and our packed schedule of activities helps us form strong bonds with our community.

We are now looking for a passionate fixed term ECE teacher to join our amazing team!

Our offer to you:

• Fixed term opportunity between end July 2025 – early May 2026.
• This is a full-time role with 40 working hours/week.

What we’re looking for in you:

• You are a passionate ECE teacher with proven experience working with children.
• You are committed to quality education and professional growth.
• You teach children in a positive, nurturing way.
• You hold good knowledge of ECE regulations.
• You are familiar with learning stories.
• Be able to cover centre opening (7:30am) and centre closing (5:30pm) time.
• You are eligible to work full time in New Zealand.
