Kaiako (Certificated) Maraenui

Learning Adventures Maraenui is a purpose-built early childhood centre, designed to inspire. With a spacious, intentional environment and a commitment to holistic, play-based learning, we create inclusive spaces where every tamaiti can thrive.

With a strong leader at the helm of our waka, we’re excited to welcome a passionate, certificated Kaiako to join our team on this journey. This is a 32.5-hour, Monday to Friday position.

At Learning Adventures, te ao Māori and te reo Māori are woven through everything we do, with whānaungatanga at the heart of our practice.

Our strong connection to our hapori shapes our local curriculum, with regular excursions to Pukemokimoki Marae and Richmond Primary School. We embrace the uniqueness of every child, ensuring each tamaiti receives the aroha, support, and opportunities they deserve.

We welcome kaiako who are familiar with, or open to learning, the pūrākau (stories) of Ngāti Kahungunu, and who value building meaningful relationships with tamariki, whānau, and community.

What we’re looking for in you:

• A qualified Early Childhood Teacher with provisional or full NZ Teaching Council Registration
• A gentle, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting tamariki
• A passion for creating a supportive, inclusive learning environment
• A team player who values collaboration, growth, and community connection
