One of our wonderful kaiako is preparing to welcome a new addition to her own whānau, so we're on the lookout for a dedicated, certificated Kaiako to step in and guide the learning journey of our youngest tamariki in the under-twos rooms.

Our under-twos rooms are inspired by the RIE approach, emphasising respectful and responsive interactions with each child.

Located near the beautiful Te Awarua-o-Porirua Harbour, Active Explorers Mana is more than a center—it’s a community. We’re dedicated to Whanaungatanga, fostering a sense of kinship, belonging, and shared purpose among our kaiako, tamariki, and their families.

As a kaiako at Active Explorers Mana, you’ll be a wayfinder, guiding tamariki through a unique, culturally grounded learning experience. Our local curriculum is enriched by the values of our treasured centre taonga: Awarua, Rereroa, Manutangi, and Werewere.

At the heart of our practice is a dedication to history and multicultural values. We are looking for a passionate kaiako eager to share this journey with our tamariki by creating enriching, hands-on learning experiences.

What we're looking for in you:

• You are ECE Qualified and hold Current Full or Provisional Teaching Registration.
• You teach children in a positive, nurturing way.
• Gentle, patient, and empathetic approach to guiding learners, fostering a supportive learning environment.
• Knowledge of ECE regulations.
