Learning Adventures Maraenui is a purpose-built early childhood centre with a spacious, beautiful and intentional environment. We use a play based, holistic and nurturing approach to create an inclusive programme for all Tamariki. With a new leader at the helm of our waka, we are looking for a strong and passionate, certificated Kaiako, to come on board and join us on our journey as a team.
Due to a rapid increase in occupancy, we are looking for a new certificated kaiako to join our waka. The position is 32.5 hours over Monday – Friday.
At Learning Adventures te ao māori and te reo māori is woven through everything we do, whānaungatanga underpins our mahi. Our love of our hapori is embedded in our local curriculum, with regular excursions to Pukemokimoki Marae and Richmond Primary School. We believe that all Tamariki are unique and deserve all the aroha and support we can give them. We are looking for someone who is familiar with or shows willingness to learn about the local pūrākau (stories) of Ngāti Kahungunu.

What we’re looking for in you:
- You’re a qualified Early Childhood Teacher with provisional or full NZ Teaching Council Registration.
- Or are in your final months of studies to become a qualified Early Childhood Teacher.
- You have a gentle, patient, and empathetic approach to guiding learners - fostering a supportive learning environment.
