Active Explorers Melville is a centre and a community that have been on a journey, we are now looking for a new Kaiako to join our waka for the next stage of our journey.  We are multi-cultural centre that celebrates the diversity and inclusiveness in our Tamariki, Whanau and Kaiako.

We are looking for a certificated teacher to join our team of Kaiako.  You are a new graduate or provisionally registered teacher looking for a leadership team that will mentor and support you through the start of your own journey; or you are an experienced teacher looking to extend your own kete of knowledge. This role is 40 hours per week and is with our 2-3 year olds.

At Active Explorers Melville, we are committed to providing a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment for our tamariki. Our centre is conveniently located near Waikato Hospital and has easy excess to local school. We take pride in offering a unique educational experience for all our children. We run a school readiness program to ensure our tamariki are ready to flourish at school and support them to become life long learners. Here at Active Explorers we love to explore and get messy, we reckon this is where the best learning happens!
