At Active Explorer Tai Tapu, we provide opportunities for tamariki to be curious and take risks to instill a strong sense of self. Our centre is a natural setting and where possible our resources are sourced from nature. We design the environment to enrich the lives of our children and families, a place where we can wonder, imagine, discover, and create. We support tamariki to recognise, understand and express their emotions respectfully while learning how to initiate and maintain respectful relationships with others.

We strongly believe in a play-based curriculum which aligns with Te Whare Tapa Wha and grows children’s capabilities across all holistic dimensions; cognitive, physical, emotional, spiritual, social, and cultural. We value the way children express their knowledge of the world through creative communication in dance, music, and visual arts.

What we're looking for in you:

• You are ECE Qualified and hold Current or Provisional Teaching Registration. 
• You have the ability to teach children in a positive, nurturing way. 
• You are passionate, caring, and committed to quality education. 
• You have knowledge of ECE regulations.
