Located in the heart of beautiful Richmond, Nelson, Active Explorers Richmond is a purpose-built centre where warmth, safety, inspiration, and meaningful engagement are at the heart of everything we do. We’re excited to offer a 12-month fixed-term opportunity for a passionate and experienced non-Certificated Kaiako/Teacher to join our toddler room.

At our centre, strong, loving relationships are the foundation of learning. We nurture secure bonds between Kaiako and tamariki, and our daily practice is enriched with tikanga and te reo Māori, honouring the dual heritage of Aotearoa.

Our dedicated team thrives on creating a rich and varied learning environment, placing relationships at the centre of our teaching. We encourage our tamariki to grow with social and emotional competence – fostering empathy, confidence, independence, and a sense of adventure as they explore their world.

We are open from 7:30am to 5:45pm, and our team works across all centre hours, with rosters shared weekly.
