Van Driver / Caregiver Mt Albert

We’re all about community, whether it is our Centre family or the wider community, all are equally important to us! We provide a safe learning environment for our children and for some - that starts the minute they leave home and jump in the Centre van on the way to our Centre.

We’re looking for a Van Driver/Caregiver to join our team on 6-months fixed term basis, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.

What your day may look like:

• Daily pick up and drop off children as per the schedule in a safe manner.
• Transport children to and from Centre excursions as required in a safe manner.
• Complete maintenance on the van when required.
• Ensuring the van register is signed daily by parents and administration is completed and up to date.
• Liaise & update with Parents/Caregivers to ensure messages are passed on to the Centre.
• Ensure the children in your care are safe at all times, abiding by all Health and Safety requirements.
• Operate the provided vehicle in a safe and lawful manner.
• Help out the Centre Support team with other duties as required. 

What we’re looking for in you:

• You have a full and clean driver’s license.
• You have flexibility to work shift hours between 7.30am - 5.30pm.
• You're a confident & patient driver.
• You're a warm, friendly individual who loves working with children.
• You're an advocate for the safety of children, at all times.
• You can develop and maintain positive, professional relationships with people of all ages and backgrounds.
