Help Families Find the Perfect Start

At Evolve Education, we believe every child's learning journey starts with a meaningful connection. That's why we're looking for a passionate and people-focused Family Engagement Coordinator to join our team.

If you love building relationships, enjoy talking to people, and get genuine satisfaction from helping families make important decisions, this could be the perfect role for you.

About Evolve Education

Evolve Education is a leading provider of early childhood education throughout Aotearoa New Zealand. Across our seven unique brands, we're committed to providing exceptional care, education, and learning environments for tamariki and whānau in the communities we serve.

Our Purpose: To nurture the next generation of lifelong learners.

Our Vision: To be known for exceptional people and exceptional learning environments.

Our Values:

  • Kotahitanga – We are stronger together
  • Mahi te mahi – We thrive on progress
  • Manaakitanga – We make everyone feel welcome
  • Kia manawanui – We see a world of possibilities

About the Role

As a Family Engagement Coordinator, you'll be one of the first points of contact for families exploring early childhood education options. You'll play an important role in creating positive first impressions and guiding families as they find the right centre for their child.

From answering enquiries and arranging centre visits to following up with families and gathering valuable feedback, you'll help ensure every family feels welcomed, informed, and supported throughout their journey.

This role combines relationship building, customer service, and collaboration, making it ideal for someone who thrives on connecting with people and delivering exceptional experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Connecting with Families

  • Respond to new enrolment enquiries and provide timely, professional support.
  • Guide families through the enrolment process, helping them find the best fit for their child and whānau.
  • Maintain regular communication and follow-up with prospective families.

Creating Exceptional Experiences

  • Engage with both prospective and existing families to ensure they feel valued and supported.
  • Monitor and review parent feedback, helping identify opportunities to enhance the family experience.
  • Be an ambassador for Evolve Education's values and commitment to quality.

Building Strong Partnerships

  • Work closely with Centre Managers and centre teams to ensure a seamless enrolment and onboarding experience.
  • Foster strong internal relationships that support enrolment growth and family satisfaction.

Using Insights to Drive Success

  • Track and report on enquiry and enrolment trends.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and family engagement outcomes.

About You

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and building meaningful connections.

You'll bring:

  • Experience in a customer service, relationship management, or contact centre environment.
  • Confidence handling inbound and outbound phone conversations.
  • A warm, professional, and engaging communication style.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems.
  • The ability to analyse information, identify trends, and communicate insights clearly.
  • A positive, solution-focused approach and a willingness to go the extra mile for families.

Experience in Early Childhood Education is beneficial but not essential—we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.

Why Join Evolve?

At Evolve Education, you'll be joining a supportive and collaborative team united by a shared purpose: helping children thrive through exceptional early learning experiences.

In return, you'll enjoy:

  • Flexible working arrangements, including a mix of Support Office, home, and Centre-based work.
  • A welcoming and values-led culture.
  • Opportunities to learn, grow, and make a real difference.
  • The chance to help families take one of the most important steps in their child's learning journey.

If you're ready to use your communication skills to make a meaningful impact on families and tamariki across Aotearoa, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today and help create great beginnings for children and their families.
