At Active Explorers Nelson Street, we believe every child is unique. Our localised curriculum is thoughtfully designed to weave together local pūrākau, history, and community values, supporting tamariki to grow socially, emotionally, and culturally. With three age-specific rooms, rich open-ended resources, and opportunities to care for our veggie garden, children are empowered to follow their interests, lead their own learning, and develop confidence through play.

Joining our Over 2s room, you'll be part of a passionate teaching team that embraces a hands-on, heart-led approach to learning. From celebrating Matariki with community bonfires to building meaningful connections through visits to our local rest home, we create authentic experiences that foster curiosity, kindness, and belonging. We also place great importance on successful school transitions, working closely with local new entrant teachers and whānau to ensure every child feels confident and ready for their next adventure.

• You are ECE Qualified and hold Current or Provisional NZ Teaching Registration.
