At Active Explorers Nelson Street, we believe every child is unique. Our localised curriculum is thoughtfully designed to weave together local pūrākau, history, and community values, supporting tamariki to grow socially, emotionally, and culturally. With three age-specific rooms, rich open-ended resources, and nurturing environments, our youngest learners are encouraged to explore, discover, and build confidence through secure, responsive relationships.

Joining our Under 3s room, you'll become part of a passionate teaching team that understands the importance of the early years. Through respectful caregiving, unhurried routines, sensory play, and meaningful interactions, you'll help create a calm, loving environment where infants and toddlers feel safe, valued, and supported to thrive. We work closely with whānau to ensure every child's individual needs, routines, and milestones are celebrated, while creating authentic experiences that spark curiosity and foster a lifelong love of learning.

• You are ECE qualified and hold current or provisional NZ Teaching Registration.
• Passionate about providing responsive, nurturing care and high-quality early childhood education for infants and toddlers.
